FLASH!! POW!! Happy Birthday!!

Good Morning, Jenny here on this sunny Sunday morning and I'm standing in for poor Tara who's feeling rather unwell this weekend.... hopefully Tara will be back tomorrow with a project and her usual weekly store news :)

For today, I have a card suitable for a comic/cartoon fan... it doesn't have to be a guy but let's face it, they usually are!!
I've used the images from Avery Elles Super and the coordinating die set to make this scene....

The sketchy skyline is quite easy to cut up and move around so you don't get too many repeats and by stamping the furthest buildings on grey card and making the foreground shorter gives the feel of depth. I added some comic style shading with basic primary colours.

The Happy Birthday laser is stamped and embossed on coloured vellum which is double layered to intensify the colour...
I used the Stick it adhesive for this job, perfect result :)

For a touch of sky I have used a Half tone circle from Altenew, these are currently out of stock but will hopefully be back very soon.... you could easily use a Half tone star instead! I have also used one of the halftone stamps to add colour to the action bubbles too.

The sentiment strips are made using a Lawn Fawn Alphabet in the comic book style

Thanks for stopping by today :)
