Rollercoaster Box Pop Up

Today I’m sharing a Lawn Fawn Coaster Critters box card pop up. This is still one of my favourite interactive dies as it’s not overly complicated to put together or bulky to post.

I die cut the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card Pop Up from a sheet of 12x12 paper from my craft stash, using double sided tape to put it together.

I then stamped the Lawn Fawn Coaster Critters images on white card and coloured them with copic markers, before die cutting them with the coordinating dies.

I adhered all the images into the box, making sure to add something to each tab for lots of dimension.

I cut a piece of blue patterned paper to adhere the back panel for the sky, then added some extra images to the box card pop up, from Lawn Fawn Happy Village and Village Shops stamp sets. These sets work so well together.

Finally, I added a panel to the front with a sentiment from the Coaster Critters stamp set, along with a panel at the back for my written message.

Thanks for joining me today,
Gemma

Rainbow Village

Hey stampers, Anni here!

Today I have another rainbow card for you! Rainbows make anything better! In fact when I don't have an idea for a card I often make a rainbow card because you can't go wrong with raibow colours.

But for this card I had this idea of a rainbow village in my mind the minute I saw the set Happy Village by Lawn Fawn. For this card I combined it with Lawn Fawn's Village Shops. The sets might seem to be quite similar but I love the variation of houses you get with both sets. And all the cute small "accessoire" stamps like the ice cream truck, the shop signs, the little (most adorable) car and the speech bubble. I HAD to had them both (and I will not talk about the Winter Village at this moment that is still on my wishlist).

I started by stamping all the houses and decided which ones I wanted to use on the card and in which order. Then I decided what colour each house should become and marked the houses with a little dot in the colour. I coloured the houses with alcohol markers and fussy cut them without leaving a border. Some off the houses were already in a group so I thought it would look weird if I would leave a white border and group the others later.

When the process of colouring and fussy cutting was finished the rest of the card took no time at all. I stamped the sentiment (also from the set Happy Village), adhered the houses, clouds and the speech bubble with dimensional adhesive and that finished up my card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend.
Anni

Ice Cream Birthday

Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Lawn Fawn Village Shops stamp set. This is a great stamp set for scene building but I decided to go for a more clean and simple look instead.

I began by using Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot backdrop die with a sheet of kraft cardstock. From this, I die cut the MFT Peek a Boo Circle Window dienamic.

I used the same circle window to cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow patterned paper. I then adhered the kraft card and rainbow circle onto a white card base.

Next, I stamped and coloured some images from the Lawn Fawn Village Shops stamp set and die cut them with the coordinating dies

I adhered the images onto the card, with some foam tape behind the ice cream van. I finished the card with a sentiment banner with a stamped greeting from the Village Shops set.

Gemma
