Pretty Monochromatic Roses

Hi there everyone, Lydia here! And today I'm sharing a very classy monochromatic card.

I used Altenew Vintage Roses to create that classy vintage background, I love the fact that you could create this a big as you wanted for any project you have in mind. I stamped all of the base images randomly all over my card base using Limestone from the Altenew Rock Collection of Crisp Ink. I then took Silver Stone for the second layers and Industrial Diamond for the third, I have to say I do love how pretty these images look in grey.

As I didn't want to take ant focus from the background I added a simple sentiment panel, the sentiment is from Floral Frame and was stamped onto black card and heat set in white.

Coffee & Flowers

Hello there and happy Thursday, Lydia here with you today.

I have gone for a monochromic look, I thought the browns would go with the coffee theme.

For the floral images I have used Vintage Roses and Vintage Flowers. I stamped three of the large leaf stem from Vintage Roses onto the card base with Caramel Toffee, Paper Bag and Dark Chocolate Crisp Ink for the three layers.

I then stamped the coffee pot from Coffee Love onto white card and cut with the coordinating dies. I then stamped the same coffee pot onto some patterned paper. I stamped some leaves onto the bottom of the pot using the same colours before adding a light mica powder over the top- this helps the leaves blend a little more into the 'pattern' on the pot. I then cut this patterned piece out and stuck it on top of the image on the die-cut piece.

I stamped a rose (Vintage Roses) and some leaves (Vintage Flowers) using the same inks and then die cut these with the matching dies. I then assembled the pieces on the card base with foam pads. To finish I added a sentiment from Coffee Talk.

A Rosey Background

Hi there everyone and happy Thursday! Lydia here with you today with a floral card.

I am still in love with the Vintage Roses from Altenew so I decided to play since there are some back in stock.... yay!

I stamped the roses using the new Red Sunset Altenew Crisp Ink set. I am loving this new colour combo it's more of a coral than the Red Cosmos so great for muted shades or even mixing and matching with it to create your own colour combinations.

I used the Green Fields Altenew Crisp Ink for the leaves and sentiment.

I have to say that the teeny-tiny little leaf on the stamp set is great for filling in any gaps!
