Hello Friend!

Hey stampers, Anni here!

Today I have a simple and easy to make card for you - we all sometimes need this kind of cards, don't we?

I started by stamping My Favorite Things' Wavy Coloring Background onto a piece of watercolouring paper. I used my stamping tool for that because I wanted to stamp in multiple colours. For the ink I chose a watersoluble one and three shades of blue.
After I finished the stamping  I sprayed the background with water. In the area where I wanted to put the sentiment Iapplied more water and in the ather areas less. I love the effect that this created.

For the sentiment I die cut Mama Elephant's Hello Friend Script a few times from grey cardstock and stacked them up. Before I cut the top layer I added some Stick It to the paper. That way I could add some foil to my sentment in silver.

I stamped and heat embossed the cute little octopus from Lawn Fawn's Octopi My Heart three times onto vellum and fussy cut all of them- I added liquid glue to the lines on the backside of the images and adhered them to my card.

For the finishing touch I added some silver rhinestones as baubles to the octopus.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Happy Hello!

Hey stampers, Anni here!
Are you ready for summer? I surely am! So I created a water themed card because water and ocean creatures makes me think of vacation, beach, sunshine... Aaaaaahhhh....

I started by creating a background with ink blending. To get the bleached splatches effect I spritzed some water on the watercolour cardstock.
The ocean creatures come from Lawn Fawn's So Jelly and Octopi My Heart. Aren't they super cute? I stamped them on white cardstock with alcohol marker friendly ink and coloured them in bright, fun, warm colours. After fussy cutting all the images I added A LOT of glitter. And to make the eyes extra black I draw over them with a black gel pen.

To emphasize the focal point I created a frame with a die cut by My Favorite Things called Stitched Scallop Circle Frames.
I chose a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Hello Baby set. I stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white. I also added some die cut stars in black because I think the black makes the other colours pop even more.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have an awesome and crafty weekend.
