Hey
stampers, Anni here!
I started
by stamping the flowers with embossing ink on watercolour cardstock and heat
embossing it with white embossing powder. For the colouring I used ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a waterbrush. Then I fussy cut out the images.
I wanted to
create a clean and simple card and let the flowers stand for their own. So I asked
myself: What could I add to make the card more interesting without taking the
focus from the flowers? I decided to go with decorated rectangle die cuts.
Reverse Confetti’s Lacy Scallop Frame dies are perfect for this. I die cut the rectangles
from white cardstock and matted them with matching coloured cardstock.
For the
sentiments I chose simple ones from Lawn Fawn. One is from the set Tiny Tags Saying: Birthday and the
other one is from the set: Happy Happy Happy.
Both cards
took something around 1,5 hours what is fairly quick for me – I am a real slow
time crafter- and I had fun making them!
Thanks for
stopping by and have a crafty weekend.
Anni
Those pretty flowers! So pretty!
