It is unusual for me to make a baby card without a special person in mind to give it to. I like to personalize the baby cards I give away. But this time the stamp set spoke to me and I just wanted to colour it - it is Newton's Nook Loveable Laundry.
I die cut My Favorite Things' Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames from white cardstock. I took the inner part and stamped all the onsies all over the paper. I coloured them using alcohol markers. The frame I left white.
For the sentiment I die cut the Hello from W Plus 9's Basic Greetings several times from dark grey cardstock and stacked them up. Then I stamped Sweet Baby from the stamp set on a stripe of yellow cardstock and cut it into a fishtail banner- I also die cut a circle from vellum to tone down the busy background a little bit and make the sentiment stand out a little more.
All that was left to do was to assemble the card.
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend.
