Reverse Confetti One-Stop-Hop

We've got something a little different to share today - we're joining forces with Amy Sheffer from the Reverse Confetti team and bringing you lots of fetti-love in one big blog post - kind of a one-stop-hop if you will!    We know not everyone is familiar with the brand so we hope this gives you a feel for how fabulous it is so do enjoy our mini-fetti-feast and we're sure you'll be converted to Fetti-Fans before you know it!

Hi there, Amy Sheffer from Reverse Confetti here today with a fun quilted birthday card.

I started by stamping my background using PATTERN BUILDER images and bright, cheery Reverse Confetti inks (PISTACHIO, PEACH, FLAMINGO, BUMBLEBEE, and BLUEBERRY). To complete my pattern, I added two small images from WHOLE LOTTA THANKS as well as a few white gel pen accents.

Once the background stamping was complete, I then added the stitched line circles using one of the dies from the DETAILED CIRCLES Confetti Cuts. By centering the die over each medallion, I ended up with the overlapping rings, reminiscent of a double wedding ring quilt.

My sentiment, from SENTIMENT ESSENTIALS, is stamped in BLUEBERRY ink, die-cut with the coordinating SENTIMENT ESSENTIALS Confetti Cuts dies, and then layered over a BUMBLEBEE-sponged banner from the FLOWERS FOR MOM Confetti Cuts set.

Stamps: Pattern Builder, Whole Lotta Thanks, Sentiment Essentials
Confetti Cuts dies: Sentiment Essentials, Flowers for Mom, Detailed Circles
Ink: Pistachio, Peach, Flamingo, Bumblebee, Blueberry
Paper: Reverse Confetti Polar White
Other: sponge dauber, white gel pen

Hi it's Jenny here and I've been playing with the Pattern Builder stamp set to make a couple of cards. For the first card I chose blues and greens and paired them with a neutral grey to make tiles which are popped up on foam tape... I thought this would make a great New Home card with a sentiment from A Whole Lotta Happy stamp set...

My second card uses the stamps in a different way. The shapes reminded me of the pretty cone flowers that come in gorgeous oranges, reds, yellows and purples so I stamped them in a row at different heights and then used the single long oval shape to stamp leaves lower down. The sentiment is from Tall Blooms...

Hi, Tallie here. My first card features these cute characters from the Magical Day stamp set. I cut three circles from a white panel, used Distress Oxide inks to colour in the die cuts and popped the panel up with some foam tape. This gave the characters and castle I coloured in with my alcohol markers some windows to peek through.

I used the Christmas Cheer stamp set for my second card. This set has a couple of cute elves and a bunch of accessories that I coloured with my alcohol markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. I layered some snow drifts over a snowy background panel I created with some texture paste, finishing off with some festive ribbon and one of the sentiments from the set. Of course, only people on the nice list deserve to get this card!

Taheerah had loads of fun with the Elegant Florals stamp set. She used water soluble oil pastels to scribble on some colour to the solid floral stamp, spritzed some water onto her cardstock and stamp, then let the water do the work to create a gorgeous soft effect!

She then stamped the outline cluster round the edges for a contrasting effect. She finished up with a sentiment from the The Most Beauty stamp set.   There are some wonderful heartfelt sentiments in the set that are perfect for encouragement and inspiration!

Tara here, I'm finishing off the mini hop with a couple of cards using some of the latest release combined with an older die in a 2-4-1 use up your bits style of crafting!

I thought it would be fun to make a slider card with the cute creatures in the new greatest adventure stamp set by combining it with the frame from the Thanks Square Die, trimming out the thanks word and using the co-ordinating dies to create a scene with the stamps and an ink blended background.  As you can see - the channels in the die are ready made for a slider and the sentiments fit too!

I also wanted to play with the die that co-ordinates with the Mod Floral Stack stamp as the die works well alone too and it instantly made me think of Orla Kiely patterned fabric so I made my own take on it.

I simply die cut the smallest die from lots of scraps of plain coloured cardstock, cut them in half and lined them up either side of a grey stripe for the "Orla look" and finished the card by using up the thanks die cut from my previous card just adding black glaze to it for a standout statement sentiment.

If you were previously unfamiliar with REVERSE CONFETTI as a brand then I hope this all-in-one hop provided a good introduction and you'll give them a try.  As with all our brands, it's high quality and we know you'll love it!
