Smile - It's Your Day

Hey stampers, Anni here.
Today I have a card full of roses for you featuring Altenew's Bamboo Roses.

Every time I go on vacation I take some stamped images and my current favourite colour medium with me. Of course I don't want to forgo on my crafting passion in these days.
So the last time I went on vacation I had my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens with me and amongst other things these beautiful roses embossed in white on watercolour paper. And I had so much fun colouring them. Actually I have much more already coloured roses than you see on this card.
All these already colourd images I keep in a box and when I want to make a fast card I go there for inspiration.

For the sentiment I chose to go with Mama Elephant's Smile Script and die cut it several times from dark green cardstock to stack it up. The second part of the sentiment is a stamp from the set Congrats by Waffle Flower.  I die cut a Stitched Mini Scallop oval by My Favourite Things from natural white cardstock.
I adhered the Oval on my card base with foam tape and arranged the roses on a diagonal line. Then I added the smile die cut and the card was finished!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Simple Note Cards

Hello there everyone and happy Thursday. Today I have a set of matching note cards to share that would be perfect to give for every occasion just by changing the sentiment. You could even mix up to colours to give these a different look.

Swoon.... just how gorgeous does that foiling look?!?! And I have to say these look so much better in real life but foiling is just so hard to photograph.

To create these I marked where I wanted the images to be on the card by drawing a faint pencil rectangle on a card blank. I added this into my stamp positioning tool and arranged the flower and leaf images from Altenew Bamboo Rose so they all fitted within the rectangle. I then closed the lid of the stamp positioner so the stamps stuck, this meant I could stamp as many of these as I wanted, all the same!

I used these cluster of images and versamark to then stamp four card blanks for the set. I then used a sticking embossing or bonding powder and heat set. When sticky embossing powder (or bonding powder) is warm its sticky so I heated it up and then added some foil over the top, if some places don't stick just heat that part up again and add the foil back on top.

For the sentiment I used Altenew Magnolias For Her and foiled in the same way as I did for the background. Simple but very pretty, I think these would also make perfect wedding stationary too. I'm really eyeing up the Black Deco Foil.... I think these would look amazing using that!

Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon!
