Hello, Gemma here for a second post this week. Today I’m sharing a card featuring fun texture with stamps and embossing.
Flora & Fauna have a great range of Texture stamp sets. I used the first stamp set on this card, but it would work well with any of the texture sets they have.
On a panel of white card, I stamped strips of colour using two of the stamps in the Flora & Fauna Texture stamp set and some MFT dye inks.
I used some anti-static powder over the panel, then lined the stamps back up over the colour images using a stamp positioner tool. I lightly swiped the stamps with Versamark ink before stamping them over the colour images. When heat embossed with silver embossing powder, it gives a modern look to the stamping.
I chose a sentiment from the Mama Elephant Scripty Bday stamp set, stamping with versafine onyx black ink and heat embossing with clear embossing powder.
I finished by adding some enamel dots that matched the stamping colours. You could use some of the gorgeous Tonic Nuvo Drops to get the same effect.
