Quick, clean and simple gratitude card

Hi everyone, Esther here with a quick, clean and simple gratitude card featuring Concord & 9th Lace Leaf and some bright ink colours!

I cut a panel of white heavyweight card stock, then inked up the watercolour effect background stamp from the Lace Leaf set and stamped it randomly in two different colours.

The sentiment is from the same set and was inked in Industrial Diamond from the Altenew Rock Collection Mini Ink Cube set.

I mounted the panel on a top folding card base, and that was it done! Perfect when you need something quickly.

Thanks for visiting :)

Winter birthday card with Concord & 9th

Hi friends! It's Esther here with a winter birthday card. I don't know about you, but loads of my friends seem to have birthdays in January and February. I'm always busy card making at this time of year.

For this card I used the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf stamp set and matching Grateful Leaf die for the background and focal image. For the background I heat embossed in white, and for the focal leaf I heat embossed in silver. The panel is die cut using the largest of the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies. The "hope your day is" sentiment is stamped using the Altenew Halftone Happy stamp set. The "wonderful" sentiment is from the Concord & 9th Wonderful Words die set. I absolutely love this set! The script is gorgeous and the three words (wonderful, lovely, incredible) can be used for so many occasions as well as friendship, gratitude and thank you cards.

Thanks for stopping by!

Fresh Autumn Colors

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying the autumn days before winter breezes in. I have been experimenting with some different color schemes for fall this year, and I found that adding a bit of blue into my projects adds quite a bit of interest. Check out my very clean and simple design using Concord & 9th “Lace Leaf”.

As you can see, I once more gave my attention to the smaller stamps in a set, not to the “main” star. I love the thin sentiment strip, which you could use by itself to create a pattern on a card or a to create a background panel for something else. And the smaller leaves are perfect for accents.

Since this is a fall card, I also wanted to use some natural twine since it just screams “autumn” to me. The twine, paired with the soft fall colors and ice blue, just make me gaze at this card dreamily. Why can’t real leaves turn blue in the fall?

Fall is Coming

Autumnal greetings, crafters! Fall is finally coming! As some of you know, I don’t like summer. It’s too warm and too bright. I love autumn, though. The air has a crisp touch, there’s fog and of course beautiful colors that make for gorgeous photos. I tried to capture that fall feeling in today’s project featuring the Lace Leaf stamp and die set by Concord & 9th.

I started out by die-cutting the leaf shape into my black panel, and then stamped the leaf through it. I could have just left it as it, since the detail is absolutely stunning, but I added a few color spots to it by coloring in a few of the sections.

The sentiment was stamped on top of with Versafine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder to make it shiny.
