Trio of Thank You Cards
Hello, it's Liz here today. Call me old fashioned but I still send 'thank you' cards. I know that these days a text or an email is more likely but what could be nicer than a handmade card popping through the letter box to say thank you for a lovely present or dinner or just for being there when you needed them.
The background papers are from the 6x6 pad 'Home Again' by Carta Bella, I love all the shades of teal in this pad. The flowers, sentiments and the double outlines round the sentiments are all from the 'Annuals' stamp set by Concord & 9th.
The double outline and sentiment was stamped directly onto the white cardstock panel. I then stamped the flowers onto watercolour card using Versafine Onyx Black, coloured with my Altenew watercolour paints and trimmed around (the matching dies are available here). I drew a freehand line around the edge of the white panel to match the style of the stamped lines. As a finishing touch I added enamel shapes, there's a huge choice in the store here.
Thanks for stopping by today, happy crafting!

Thank you with peonies.
Hello crafty friends.
It's Thursday and I'm back with another project for you. Today I'm playing with this beautiful Peony Notes Stamp set from Waffle Flower Crafts.
My first step was to stamp all the florals from the set on to a piece of watercolour paper with waterproof black ink and colour with distress inks in lovely pinks, browns and greens.
I also chose to add a little bit of sparkle with a shimmer pen and details with a white gel pen.
I decided to fussy cut them out, but you can definitely use coordinating Peonie Notes dies here too.

My next step was the background. As you can see, I've masked off the centre part of my card panel. For that, I've used masking paper, cut to prefered size with rectangle nesting dies.
I decided to use distress oxide inks in blues and purples for my ink blending. I also added silver splatters with my paintbrush.

To adhere all of my flowers in place I've used foam squares - this added lots of interest to my card.
My last step here was to add a greeting, and for this, I chose sentiment from the same set cut with coordinating dies.
As a finishing touch, I chose white Nuvo drops and hand-drawn stitching details along the masked edge.
Thank you all for stopping by.

See you next week! Bye.

Thank you with magnolias
Hello all! Anna here.
I'm back with a new project - this time it's Thank You card featuring Avery Elle stamps.
My first step was to stamp almost all the florals from Avery Elle Magnolia stamp set on to watercolour paper. I decided to use Distress inks in pinks and greens for my colouring today.
After my colouring was done, I went and fussy cut all the images. ( If you don't like cutting by hand, there are also coordinating dies available here )
To create this ombre background, I decided to use distress oxides. I love the look of lavender colour picking from under the main floral. It gives the whole card completely different look from what it would look like with plain white background.
Before adhering all the flowers on to the background, I stamped a sentiment from another Avery Elle set - Floating Wishes stamp set - with black ink and added frame around my card panel. For that I simply masked off the edges, using masking tape ( you can also use post-it notes or washi tape ) and used dark grey Zig Real Brush marker ( You can use whatever grey or black marker you got ) to draw thick line.
After arranging all the florals, I used foam squares to adhere them in place and added a few clear sequins around for more interest.
This card is all done!

Thank you so much forstopping by! I will be back with another fun project next week.
See you soon!

Scooter Balloons
Hello everyone!
I'm back with another card. Today I'm using Scooter Ballons stamp set from Lil' Inker Designs.
My first step was to create the background. For this, I chose distress oxide inks in refreshing greens and simple inks blending technique.
I also added splatters, using a small paintbrush.

Next, I stamped all the images I needed on to piece of watercolour paper and coloured them with zig real brush markers.
I then fussy cut everything out and adhered to my card panel with foam squares.
For my sentiment, I chose one from the same set and stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black on to a strip of white paper. I used my trimmer to cut it and adhered with some liquid glue, next to my little scooter.
My last step was to add a few Nuvo crystal drops and glossy accents to all the balloons.
