Best Wishes
Hello, it's Liz here today. I have cracked open a new stamp set, Floral Notes by Avery Elle (a matching die set is also available). When I saw this set I knew I had to have it, it's such an unusual shape and I have so many ideas swirling around in my head!
This time I stamped the image with my Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and used my AlteNew Watercolour Paints to colour. The background paper is from the Simple Vintage Botanicals pad by Simple Stories. I love that this sheet of paper has just a touch of pattern around the edges leaving the centre plain for my sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today, happy crafting!

Travellers Notebook - memory keeping
Hello. Today I want to share a couple of pages in one of my Travellers Notebook Journals. I use TN's to plan and record memories - I have nature, blogging and travel journals to name a few. This one is an ongoing project to record my visits to places listed in the book '111 Places In Glasgow That You Shouldn't Miss' (there are similar books for cities all over the world).
Glasgow is my home city but quite often we don't know or don't visit what is on our doorstep! These two pages record numbers 4 and 30 in the book. I always include two or three pictures and some journalling - either a fact quoted from the book or a short personal observation.
The background papers and washi tape are Spring Farmhouse by Simple Stories. The numbers have been diecut using Number It Creative Cuts by Mama Elephant and the headers have been stamped using Birdie Brown Alphabet and Numbers.
I hope you enjoyed this little look into my journal, thanks for stopping by today, Liz

Wot? No Stamping!
Hey! How are you?
Shockingly I'm using nothing but paper. Not a stamp nor embellishment in sight! I've mainly used one paper pad with a couple of others and whipped up a whole collection of pretty quick and slightly different cards!
Here's the simple set of cards- apart from a little extra fussy-cutting, most of the elements are done for you! This dog looked like he might be a sucker for doughnuts!
This next card involved cutting up one of the quote cards and adding it to another printed panel.
This one was super simple- only adding in a lightbulb and mounting on paper from My Favorite Things
I thought I'd do a little paper pleating on the next one
really simple, just adding a panel to some background paper, adding pleats and then trimming out a mini dog!
There are so many little elements in this paper pad, and they're gorgeous double sided papers too. Do check out the paper pad section. It can make creating cards much quicker and simpler.
I love making more complex projects normally, but found going simpler much more freeing and I ended up with 5 cards in the space I'd normally create one!
Hope you are inspired to create quick and simple projects too!!
See you next week
Keren xx
