Warm Wishes
Hello, it's Liz here today. I have a card to share that would be perfect for a winter birthday. I used my Winter Sparrow stamp set by Wplus9 to stamp the sparrow and foliage (matching dies are here).
I love that the stamps are all individual parts of the image meaning you can totally change things up. I decided on a sparrow this time but you could do a robin, a bluetit, a chaffinch or a brightly coloured bird from your imagination!
I made a circle frame using two dies from the Stitched Circle Stax set by My Favourite Things to mount the stamped images on to. Everything was attached to the base card using foam squares.
Well, that's it from me for 2019. I hope you all have a great Christmas and all the best in 2020!

Picture Perfect Photo Cards
Hello, Tallie here today with a set of cards featuring the MFT Picture Perfect set. Combined with the Lawn Fawn Say Cheese, Again die, these cards are a great way to practice your alcohol marker colouring and put a smile on the recipient's face!
I started off by stamping out four of the images in the MFT Picture Perfect set onto some blending cardstock with MFT Extreme Black Ink.
I coloured these in with my alcohol markers, sticking to bright, bold colours. I cut these out with the Lawn Fawn Say Cheese, Again die, keeping both parts.
I stamped out the 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' sentiment from the MFT Sweet Birthday Wishes set on the bottom of the photo frames in some Nocturne Versafine Clair Ink Pad, which is a fabulous ink for stamping crisp sentiments!
To create the background panels, I used two different backgrounds - MFT All Lined Up and MFT Happy Birthday - stamped in Versamark Ink, along with some different coloured Lawn Fawn cardstock.
The final step was to add them to some A6 top-folding card bases.
Which one is your favourite? Mine has got to be Slomo (bonus points to you if you get that reference!) the sloth! Just look at that cute face. :)
Thanks for reading, catch you next week!

Out of this World Spaceship Scene
Hello all, Tallie here. For today's card I needed something more masculine, spaced themed with a birthday greeting. I've never done a galaxy background with my alcohol markers before so I thought it was time to give it a try!
I started out by stamping the spaceman and a bunch of the planets from the Lawn Fawn Out of this World set in some alcohol marker friendly MFT Extreme Black Ink onto some blending cardstock. I coloured these in with my alcohol markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
The foreground spaceship wall scene was easy - just scribble some cool grey markers over and over until a smooth blend is achieved. The galaxy background was a little more work - starting with some deep, dark blues and violets, followed by a light pink and blue-green. A little white, gold and silver gel pen finished off that starry look.
I cut the silver panel with an MFT Inside & Out Stitched Circle die, using two more of the circle dies to create a frame from some bluejay cardstock. I adhered some acetate to the back of the grey panel and popped it up over the galaxy background with some foam tape to make it seem like a porthole looking out into space.
I stamped the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Out of this World set onto some cream cardstock and adhered it towards the bottom of the main panel.
Thanks for reading, catch you next week.

A Herd of Birthday Bunnies
Hello, crafters! Tallie here today with a cute little bunny birthday celebration! This uses three different sets - Starry Scene, We Herd and Essential Sentiments - from three different companies - Avery Elle, Waffle Flower and My Favorite Things. It's such a great and simple design that you can customise both colour-wise and scene-wise to your tastes.
I started out by stamping the Starry Scene background onto an A6 card panel with some Distress Oxide inks in Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon and Faded Jeans. Here's a tip: to get a smooth transition between the colours, after inking up the portion of the stamp use an ink blending foam to blur the lines. This worked wonderfully on the Distress Oxides! I set these aside to dry to work on the foreground.
I stamped out the group of bunnies and balloons from the We Herd set in some MFT Extreme Black ink. I coloured these with my alcohol markers, sticking to cool greys and contrasting reds and oranges. I cut these out with the coordinating dies.
I white heat embossed the 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' sentiment from the Essential Sentiments set onto some black card stock and die cut it with a Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banner die.
Using some foam tape, I popped up the pieces over the background panel. I added some of the balloon strings with a black pen and a little bit of Wink of Stella to to add some sparkle to the balloons.
A cute little birthday card scene!

Oh Deer! I've Missed Your Birthday!
Hello, Tallie here.
I'm back again today with a couple of my favourite Neat & Tangled sets. I was saddened to see the Oh Deer set is being retired, so be quick if you want it! I used this and the Lumberjack Love set to create these set of cards for belated birthday greetings.
I started out with some Distress Oxides inks, blending three sets of panels: (1) the sky in Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean; (2) the grass in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn; and (3) the muddy hills in Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs. I die cut these with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border Die.
To create the scene, using some MFT Extreme Black Ink I stamped out the deer, hearts and large sentiment from the Oh Deer stamp set, along with the trees and stump from the Lumberjack Love set. I coloured these with my alcohol markers, using one of my favourite red/brown colour combos for the deer (E15/E19/E27/E29, E55/E53/E51) and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I arranged the scenes, using foam tape to give some dimension to the sentiment pieces. Add a humorous message inside and these make the ideal 'oops, I forgot your birthday' cards!
Don't forget to take a look through the Neat & Tangled

Monster Hugs and Kisses
Hello, Tallie here. Hope you're enjoying the sunny weather!
I had three requirements for today's card: 1) bright colours, 2) can be sent to a boy or a girl, and 3) it had to use the Concord & 9th Monster Love set. This one's been sitting in my stash for a little while and it's too cute to stay there!
I started out by stamping the little furry guy and two balloons onto some blending cardstock with some MFT Extreme black ink. I then coloured him in with my alcohol markers, using lots of tiny strokes to give the fur effect. I stuck to bright colours and cut them out with the coordinating dies when finished.
I chose a simple background of green cardstock and used a strip of my pre-stamped background paper I mentioned a couple of weeks ago to ground the little guy. A sentiment strip from the Mama Elephant Birthday Messages set and a marker for to add some balloon strings finishes off the card nicely.
The design is simple and flexible so I made a bunch of different designs to bulk up my birthday card stash!

Neat & Tangled - Piece of Cake birthday card
Hello everyone!
I'm so happy and honoured to be here as a member of this amazing design team. Today I got this super fun card for you - made with Neat & Tangled Piece of Cake stamp set.
My first step was to stamp this huge cake image with Versafine Onyx Black ink on to a watercolour paper, cut to be slightly smaller than my card base. I also added a few smaller confetti-like pieces around the main image, to fill up the empty space.
I love this set, the size and design are perfect to practise colouring with any medium. I chose Distress Markers in bright colours. I wanted my cake to appear slightly dramatic, with lots of contrast between darkest and lighter areas. I also added water splatters and shadow behind my main image to add more dimension and interest to this otherwise very simple and flat design.
After my colouring was done, I added Glossy Accents to all the confetti pieces, candle and each of the hats, as well as details with a white gel pen.
My last step was to stamp sentiment included in this set with Versafine Onyx Black ink and adhere the card panel to light grey card base with foam tape.
Thank you for stopping by. Please leave a comment below and tell us if you like my card.
I will be back next Thursday with another project.
See you soon!

Oh Gnome!
Hello, Tallie here with this cute little 'sorry I forgot your birthday' gnome card featuring the new Lawn Fawn 'Oh Gnome!' set. I have a couple of friends who love gnomes and have their birthdays within a few days of each other, so I'm preparing in advance to forget to send them a card!
I started out by stamping a really simple scene. I used the male and female gnome from the set, stamping out the speech bubbles and the two sentiments inside using some MFT Extreme Black Ink.
I coloured them in with my alcohol markers, sticking to the more traditional colours of red and blue. I used a couple of green markers to add some grass to ground the figures.
For the main sentiment, I stamped out the 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Hay There set onto some red cardstock. I then used a Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banner die to die cut the sentiment. I mounted this with some foam tape and used it to frame up the mini-scene.
A little glitter gel pen to the heart finishes it off nicely!

Just a Wild Note to Say...
Hello, Tallie here and a happy Wednesday! I'm back today with this cute little birthday scene card featuring the Wild Ones stamp set from Neat & Tangled and a couple of Lawn Fawn and MFT products.
I started out by stamping the giraffe, monkey, tortoise and bird from the Neat & Tangled Wild Ones set with some MFT Extreme Black Ink onto some blending cardstock. I then coloured these in with my Copic markers, sticking to bright colours and a couple of accent colours. I cut these out with the coordinating dies.
I inked up two panels, one with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Ink and the other with Broken China and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I find for scenes like this the Distress Inks are more vibrant than the Oxides, though you do have to work harder to get a smooth blend. I used a Lawn Fawn Simple Grassy Hillsides Border die to cut the green panel twice for some layered grass pieces. I used the MFT Cloud Stencil to add some detail to the otherwise empty blue background panel.
I used a mixture of foam tape and liquid adhesive to put the scene together, finishing off with sentiments from the Lawn Fawn Critter Concert set so the greeting continued on the inside: 'JUST A LITTLE NOTE TO SAY ... HOPE YOU HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!'
This card is perfect for a kid's birthday with the animals and bright colours!
