Hey stampers, Anni here!
I have a quick and easy Christmas card for those of you who might need a last minute card.
Overhere in Germany we celebrate (or should I say we start celebrating) Christmas on the 24th of december. So I started by die cutting a 2 and a 4 using Altenew's Mega Numbers. I love these numbers and I bought the whole bundle and haven't regret it yet.
I added ink blending in red, pink and orange and darker red only to the edges.
Then I stamped three penguins from Mama Elephant's Little Penguin Agenda with an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I coloured the penguins in a cold grey and for the other things like scarf, feet, beak, beely etc. I chose colours that went well with the colour of the 24. To cut out the penguins there are coordinating dies available.
For the panel I die cut a scallop rectangle from Mama Elephant's Framed Tags: Waverly from white cardstock. I adhered the 24 and the penguins with dimensional adhesive. Because it looked a bit boring, I stamped some small snowflakes I found in Avery Elle's Snow Much Fun set.
For the sentiment I chose one from my go to set of this season: Mama Elephant's Holiday Messages. I heat embossed it in white on a stripe of grey cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend.

Mega Numbers and Cats
Hey stampers, Anni here!
I told you before, I am totally in love with the Mega Numbers by Altenew. They are perfect fro hte big birthdays in our lifes. The 30th birthday of a sweet collegaue of mine was just the right occassion to put the numbers to a good use.
I started the card by stamping some of the super cute cats from My Favorite Things` I knead You as my colleague is a cat lover. For the colouring I used alcohol marker and cut them out. I also added in some birthday party accessoires from My Favorite Things' Birthday Bears: The birthday cake, the party hats, the present and the balloon.
Then I die cut the Mega Number 3 and 0 from matching cardstock and adhered them with dimensional adhesive to the card panel. The images I arranged around the 30.
For the sentiment I used one from the Birthday Bears set. I stamped and heat embossed it in white on a stripe of dark grey cardstock and cut it into a fishtail banner.
To give the little scene a frame I die cut the biggest of My Favorite Things' A 2 Rectangle Frames. That finished up my card.
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend.

The Big 80
Hey stampers, Anni here!
My mom is turning 80! Wow! Well, when your mom has a big birthday you have to make a special birthday card for her, don't you!
Hope you can see the card well. The white on white effect is difficult to catch on a photo.
I just recently treated myself to Altenew's Mega Number Bundle - a Christmas present from me to me. With my mom's birthday coming up and my nephews (twins) turning 18 this year I had just the right excuse to order them - after eyeing them for a long them. You can buy them seperatly, too (Mega Number 8 and Mega Number 0).
I combined the big numbers with some flowers from Altenew's Layered Floral Elements. I die cut several flowers and leaves from scraps of cardstock and layered them up if needed. Then I embossed the sentiment - one of the many Happy Birthdays from Altenew's Birthday Builder - in white on a stripe of black cardstock. I added some dimensional adhesive to the back and arranged the flowers and the leaves to the stripe.
After I finished it all there was left to do was to adhere the stripe to the 80.
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend.
