Night garden card with My Favorite Things and Avery Elle
Hi everyone, it's Esther here with a card inspired by the idea of a night garden.
I started by die cutting a "starburst" panel with a centre circle using Avery Elle Burst Elle-ments. I cut stars from the centre circle with My Favorite Things Stars in Sky Vertical Dienamic, and replaced some of them with silver stars.
The flowers were die cut using My Favorite Things Stitched Flowers Dienamics and coloured with alcohol markers.
The bunny gazing up at the night sky is stamped and die cut using My Favorite Things Snuggle Bunnies, again coloured with alcohol markers.
Finally I layered everything up, raising the outer starburst panel above the starry sky using foam tape and stacking the flowers on top around the bunny. I decided not to add a sentiment as I didn't want to make the card too busy or hide too much of the gorgeous starburst background panel.
That's it from me this week. Thanks for stopping by!

You're Kind of A Big Deal Strongman Card
Hi everyone, Taheerah here wishing you a happy Thursday!
Today I've a masculine card with a punny sentiment, perfect for those who don't take themselves too seriously!
I really love the entire circus-themed release that was recently released by SugarPea Designs - but the Stay Strong stamp set was an instant hit with me! Who could resist a chuckle at this guy who thinks he's all that?! To be fair, I don't think I could lift weights, so he's clearly right to think himself a bit of a big deal. *wink*
I couldn't wait to encapsulate that sentiment with the following card:
Hehe, he's such a tough guy!
I stamped and coloured my strongman before trimming him out. I really wanted him to be the star of the show, which is why the rest of the card is colour-free and simple!
That didn't mean that the card base had to be plain and boring though! See those die impressions? That's created using the Avery Elle Burst Elle-ments die. It adds the *perfect* amount of interest and texture to a card. Love. It!
I'd love to hear what you think of this card. Is there someone you think it would be perfect for? Thanks for stopping by!

Two ways with Avery Elle Burst Elle-ments and florals
Hi everyone, it's Esther with two cards showing the Avery Elle Burst Elle-ments die. I love how it frames a card and gives stability to more unstructured stamping such as florals that you can team with it. This is a die I'll be using a lot.
I made up the first card with the new Hero Arts Color Layering Fuschia, only for it to go out of stock a day later! I'm not surprised it's been so popular, as it's completely gorgeous. (You can sign up to have an email alert as soon as it's back in.) So I added a second card using Altenew Wild Hibiscus, also gorgeous, which we still have available - just. Be quick if you want one!
Here's the Fuschia card, cut with the matching dies.
And here's the Wild Hibiscus card with an ink smooshed background and the flowers cut with the matching dies. The sentiment is from the same set. The flowers are watercoloured with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
Hope you like the cards! See you next week :)
