July Challenge Winners and August Challenge Launch

I'm back again with a bit of an apology for the late start to this month's challenge and the announcement of last month's winners.  As I pretty much do everything around here (with great help from my hubby on all the heavy lifting and order picking) when we are really busy, the challenge drops to the bottom of my list as I want to ensure that we give priority to getting your orders out and getting new stock into the store.  We are looking at ways to free up my time in the future but for now we are where we are and hopefully you'll still play along.

Our winner for the sketch challenge last month is Peculiaris with this wonderful little framed artwork - I am a firm believer in using our stamps and dies for more than cards and this is a perfect example.  We loved the layers and depth within the frame - it all really works brilliantly!  Please send an email via the form on the store and we'll get your voucher sorted.

 We have a couple of runners up this month - our first is actually 2 entries in one from Malwinkowo - we loved these pirate scenes and the killer touch is the real sand in the shaker frames - genius idea! 

Finally loved Rachel's cute kitty card - we thought the use of selecting inking on the embossed background was a great way to interpret the sketch. 

Well done to all our winning entries.  If you weren't selected this time, then now is your chance to have another go to catch the DT's attention (we all vote on your cards each month in secret to select our winners).  For our August we have a great collection of colours for you to choose from this month for our prize winning challenge.  As always just pick your preferred option and use at least 3 colours from it - NO BACK LINKS - new work only will be accepted.  You can create anything you like and combine with other challenges as long as you use at least one product from the vast array within Seven Hills Crafts.  The winning entry will get a £20 voucher to spend in store.

August Challenge Week 1

The 1st of the month means a brand new challenge around these parts and this month we have a theme for you inspired by a window display I spotted on a recent trip to Liverpool.

So our theme this month is GEOMETRY - its time to start playing with pattern - you can stamp it, die cut it, emboss it, score it or even draw it with a ruler - we just want to see some geometric pattern on your project somewhere.  Don't forget though - you have to use at least one product from Seven Hill's Crafts to be eligible for the £15 prize.  With over 5500 items to choose from we don't think this is too hard a rule!   Entrants that don't follow this rule may be deleted.
