Pixelated Pictures

I'm back again today on our vacant slot day until I manage to select our new DT member.  Today I have a card I made for a teenagers birthday, and a boy one at that, often the hardest category of cards to make I find, but now we have these amazing dies back in stock from Neat and Tangled I think we've got it covered as there are ENDLESS possibilities with them!

I started with pixelated circles in yellow and added some piexelated face elements in black white and red and combined a couple of the words from piexelated sentiments the co-ordinating stamp set to make the front of the card.

I didn't leave it just on the outside though as the pixelated circle die also has a really fun pop up element alongside the main circle and inspired by Emily Leipharts lego party favour card I decided it would make the perfect place to hide a gift card.

So here is my winking character on the inside - lifting his tongue reveals the hidden gift card.   These really are fun dies to play with - I think it would be fun to make a whole heap of them to make your own snap game for the kids.

Here you can see the hidden card - the hole is the perfect size so you can add any variety you like to match the face.

Catch you later
