Fresh Autumn Colors

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying the autumn days before winter breezes in. I have been experimenting with some different color schemes for fall this year, and I found that adding a bit of blue into my projects adds quite a bit of interest. Check out my very clean and simple design using Concord & 9th “Lace Leaf”.

As you can see, I once more gave my attention to the smaller stamps in a set, not to the “main” star. I love the thin sentiment strip, which you could use by itself to create a pattern on a card or a to create a background panel for something else. And the smaller leaves are perfect for accents.

Since this is a fall card, I also wanted to use some natural twine since it just screams “autumn” to me. The twine, paired with the soft fall colors and ice blue, just make me gaze at this card dreamily. Why can’t real leaves turn blue in the fall?

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!

  1. Okay, can I just say your card is rapidly converting me to blue for autumn! What a beauty, such a lovely dreamy feel to it and oodles of clean, crisp white space <3 The twine is a perfect finishing touch and really draws attention to the fabulous long sentiment strip. Gorgeous!
