It might be the rose-tinted specs and nostalgia talking, but there's a lot to be said about some of the old games and activities that we used to do as kids! I'm pretty sure every generation looks at the current state of affairs and thinks 'it was better in my day!' - maybe this is a sign that I'm getting old?!
All those feelings of nostalgia came flooding to me when I saw the Reverse Confetti Rollin stamp set! Although the only one of the activities I took part in was hopscotch, I definitely still love all the other cute images - especially the rollerskates!
I was excited to play with this set and came up with the following card:
Tell me you're not getting nostalgic right now! *wink*
I started by watering down some inks and using them to paint pastel rainbow stripes on my card base. Those colours just make me happy!
I stamped the rollerskates, trimmed them out, and poked a hole in each of them. I threaded some twine through them and adhered them to my base. The fun sentiment over the top just brings the whole thing together, don't you think?!
I'd love to hear what you think of this card. Is there someone you know who'd love to receive it? Thanks for stopping by!
