Triple Scoop Sweet Wishes Ice-Cream Card

Hi everyone, Taheerah here wishing you a happy Friday!

Who was melting with the heatwave recently?! Personally I love it hot and was absolutely over the moon whilst everyone else was begging for rain!

Ice-cream didn't really stand a chance in the heat, but being the essential treat of choice I just had to commemorate the brief Indian Summer with a card that was stacked with scoops - three in fact! The Colorado Craft Company Big & Bold - Sweetest Birthday Cone stamp set features the most delicious oversized ice-cream cone stamp, but seeing as I was feeling greedy I decided to put some creative masking to use to create a triple-scoop delight:

Mouth-watering, right?!

I started by creating a mask of the scoop using a Post-It note, then used that mask repeatedly to mask my card base when creating my scoops! Start with the top scoop first then mask successively to create each scoop! The design obviously has some whipped cream and a cherry on top, so I just masked the top portion when inking my stamp, then drew in the missing top by hand!

Once my first two scoops were done I was able to stamp the final scoop and include the cone. Then it was time to break out the Copics and colour in this mega treat!

I finished off with some mist splatter and then stamped my sentiment. Just creating this baby made my crave ice-cream so I made a trip to my freezer straight after! *wink*

I'd love to hear what you think of this card. Is there someone you know who'd love to receive it? Thanks for stopping by!
