I don't know about your office, but as soon as 'cake' is mentioned at mine a crowd gathers faster than you can blink! So when I was staring at the Mama Elephant The Cat's Meow stamp set, and thinking about that crowd of kitties assembled like that, I immediately thought back to that!
I couldn't wait to put my idea into action:
Fun, right? I'm cracking up over this!
I stamped the row of kitties three times, using some simple masking and moving the stamp slightly for variation. I spent a little while colouring my kitties but by keeping to similar colours it didn't take that long at all!
I built my sentiment using an alphabet stamp set. The one I used is out of stock right now, but the Avery Elle Elle's Alphas stamp set is a great alternative!
I wanted to make sure that my recipient knew that this was a birthday card, so I used two sentiments from the Mama Elephant Sweetest Greetings stamp set to build my birthday sentiment!
