No I'm not talking weddings this week, I just have 2 projects one using some old stash and one using some new!
This is the older one, which is actually for a family member who is celebrating his 21st today! I wanted to use the "Rock This Town" phrase from Mama Elephant's Rewind set which is an oldie but a goodie if you've not come across it before. I used the words from that plus Photobooth from Neat and Tangled to stamp up the cassettes (the cocktail glasses and party hat come from there too). The background panel was inked with pale grey ink using the Happy Birthday background from MFT for a subtle interest before creating a bold colourful sentiment using the Stitched Alphabet dies also from MFT. I cut two of each, backed with stick-it to layer them up easily for dimension before colouring them rainbow style with copic markers.
This is the new one. I wanted to show off the elegant simplicity of the new Roses Background Die from Wplus9 so die cut from white and popped it over a panel I had blended with a variety of MFT inks in yellows, peaches and reds. I created a dimensional sentiment using the same technique of layering up the die cuts - this time using the new Hello There die from MFT cut from Black Licorice card stock from Lawn Fawn.
NEWS FROM THE STORE:
It's going to be another big week in store this week!
See you next week

NEWS FROM THE STORE:
It's going to be another big week in store this week!
- Lawn Fawn and Avery Elle restocks will be in store later today.
- We will also have the NEW release from Altenew plus restocks tomorrow - including all the lovely new ink colours. As always getting enough Altenew stock is hard and restocks take weeks to arrive so if you want it grab it!
- Mama Elephant's April release will be in store on the 15th as usual.
- We will also have the new Reverse Confetti release by Tuesday fingers crossed.
- The new SugarPea Designs release, including their new paper pack, will be here by the end of the week fingers crossed.
- We also have a brand new product coming this week - FELT! This is something we've been looking at sourcing for a while and we think we've found the perfect product - it die cuts like a dream! No fraying, even on intricate dies - see example below. What's more we have it in 40 colours and at a great price too! Watch the store for its arrival this week.
See you next week

Two very lovely cards - so bright and cheerful! I shall have to place another order as soon as the Altenew stock arrives as I'd like the new grey ink cubes and the felt looks interesting too.
